May 14, 2007Don’t let the FDA change our chocolate definition!
May 14, 2007In an effort to make chocolate production cheaper, there is a move to change the definition of chocolate and allow cheaper ingredients like vegetable oil instead of cocoa butter and whey protein powder instead of dry whole milk. It’s hard to predict the impact but anything that will allow cheap substitutes in my chocolate makes me an unhappy camper!
